Evaluation #6: What have you learned about technologies from the process of constructing this product?

I used Adobe Fireworks for the main part of making my media product. I used it to manipulate pictures and put them into shapes for my media product. I also used it to give font colour, bold and outlines on text. It was hard to use but I self-taught myself on how to do everything and experimented with it. I found it easy to manipulate pictures one I got the hang of it.
I used Photoshop for my text as well, this was hard to do but I used emboss, shade and such to make my text stand out a lot more. I also used shadow on some images to make them more dark and mysterious which were themes I showed throughout my magazine.
I used blogger to upload my coursework. I used a range of thing to make my blog look it's best. I set images as backgrounds and created pages to organise everything. I also edited the HTML to add presentations.
I used imgur to upload the majority of my photos. This was good as I had my photos all in once place and it was easy then to upload them to blogger via a URL.
I used Slideshare to add presentations to my blog. This was good because I could show evidence of my work through other means than writing it all down in plain text.

I used Microsoft Word to make my Schedule table. I made it quite advanced than a normal table and much more visually appealing.

I used Microsoft Powerpoint to make power point presentations. This gave a different method to presenting my work.

I used Survey Monkey to make a survey I could use for my Audience Research, this was useful as I found out vital information from it.

Overall, I have used a range of technologies in the construction of my magazine because it is important for the magazine to look its best as it's aim is to attract the reader to the magazine. DIfferent technologies also let me experiment with different ways I could present my work in creative and alliterate form.
